We strongly recommend descending directly into the Sacred Valley (2,800m / 9,186 ft) upon landing at Cusco Airport (3,399m / 11,151 ft). Spending your first two nights at the lower elevation of the valley allows your body to acclimatize gently while enjoying sprawling 5-star riverside resorts.

Can your private Sacred Valley tours pick us up at our Sacred Valley hotel or end at the Ollantaytambo train station?

Yes! Because all our Sacred Valley tours are 100% private, we can pick you up at any hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley (Urubamba, Yucay, Yanahuara, or Ollantaytambo) and drop you off directly at the Ollantaytambo train station with your luggage to board your afternoon train to Machu Picchu.
