Welcome to Peru! Because most international flights land late at night when domestic connections to Cusco are unavailable, we prioritize your comfort. Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted and assisted to one of the best hotels located steps from the terminal. Enjoy a peaceful, restful night to recharge before your Andean adventure begins the next morning.

Chinchero Textiles & Andean Landscapes

After breakfast, you will board a short domestic flight to Cusco (included). Upon arrival, your private guide will pick you up to immediately descend into the lower elevation of the Sacred Valley of the Incas (2,800m), aiding your natural acclimatization. Surrounded by imposing mountain peaks, our first stop is the ancestral town of Chinchero. Here, you will witness local master weavers keeping Inca traditions alive, demonstrating how they naturally dye and spin alpaca wool.

Maras, Moray & Ollantaytambo

We continue to the visually striking Maras salt mines, a vast network of over 3,000 terraced pools harvested since pre-Incan times. Next, you will explore Moray, an incredible Inca agricultural laboratory featuring massive concentric circular terraces. After a delicious local lunch in the valley, we will transfer you to the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo, where you will spend the night.

Scenic Train & The Lost City

Prepare for an unforgettable highlight! In the morning, you will board the scenic panoramic train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. During this 1.5-hour rail journey, watch the dramatic transition from Andean highlands to lush cloud forest. Upon arrival, your private guide will escort you via the dedicated Consettur shuttle up the winding mountain road directly to the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu.

Guided Exploration & Free Afternoon

During your comprehensive private tour, you will uncover the history behind the sacred agricultural terraces, ceremonial fountains, and the iconic Sun and Condor temples. Afterwards, you have time to soak in the views before returning via shuttle bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will enjoy lunch and rest at your selected hotel in Machu Picchu Pueblo.

Optional Mountain Climb or Town Leisure

Today, the morning is yours to spend at your leisure. You have the option to revisit the citadel (second entrance ticket required) or take on the famous hike to the summit of Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain for unparalleled aerial views (permits are strictly limited and must be booked with us well in advance). Alternatively, you may stroll through the artisan markets of Aguas Calientes or visit the natural thermal baths.

Return Journey to the Imperial City

In the afternoon, you will board the panoramic train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival at the station, our private chauffeur will be waiting to drive you comfortably to the imperial city of Cusco, dropping you off at your hotel for the evening.

Sacsayhuaman & Qenqo

At 9:00 AM, our private transfer and historian guide will pick you up for a private megalithic Cusco tour. The excursion begins at the awe-inspiring fortress of Sacsayhuaman, featuring massive limestone blocks weighing up to 125 tons, meticulously fitted without mortar in a zigzag formation. Next, we visit Qenqo ("labyrinth"), a ceremonial sanctuary carved directly into the living bedrock.

Puca Pucara, Tambomachay & Free Afternoon

We continue to Puca Pucara, the "Red Fortress" that served as a strategic Inca control point, and finally Tambomachay, the "Baths of the Inca," revered for its precision-engineered water aqueducts. Returning to the historic center at 1:30 PM, we will treat you to lunch at one of Cusco's finest traditional restaurants, followed by a free afternoon to enjoy at your own pace.

Walking Tour of the Incan Capital

Your guide will meet you to begin a private Imperial Cusco walking tour through San Blas, the city's historic artisan quarter. You will admire the famous 12-angled stone along Hatun Rumiyoc street before entering the majestic Cusco Cathedral on the Plaza de Armas. The morning concludes at Qoricancha, the opulent Inca Temple of the Sun.

San Pedro Market & Cooking Class

In the afternoon, we visit the vibrant San Pedro Market. Amidst colorful stalls of heirloom potatoes, giant Andean corn, local cheeses, and exotic Amazonian fruits, you will select fresh ingredients for your private Andean cooking class. Under the guidance of a professional Peruvian chef, you will prepare a gourmet appetizer, main course, dessert, and toast with a classic Pisco Sour.

Farewell to Peru
