Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, you will be warmly greeted and assisted to your selected hotel located steps from the terminal. After breakfast, connect effortlessly to your included morning flight to Puerto Maldonado, Peru's Capital of Biodiversity. Upon landing, your naturalist team will transfer you to the lodge office to store your heavy highland luggage before boarding a motorized riverboat along the Madre de Dios River into the primary rainforest.

Lake Sandoval & Treetop Canopy Walkway

Wake up to the calls of howler monkeys and scarlet macaws. After a fresh tropical breakfast, glide by wooden canoe across mirror-like Lake Sandoval—home to endangered giant river otters, red howler monkeys, hoatzins, and black caimans—and ascend the suspended Inkaterra Canopy Walkway 30 meters (98 ft) above the forest floor.

Amazonian Sunset

In the late afternoon, witness a fiery jungle sunset reflecting off the Madre de Dios River before returning to the lodge for cocktails and a gourmet Amazonian dinner.

From the Jungle to the Andes

After breakfast, cruise back up the Madre de Dios River to Puerto Maldonado, collect your stored main luggage, and board your included flight to Cusco. Cusco City Tour & Megalithic Ruins

In the afternoon, enjoy a private guided walking tour of Imperial Cusco: stroll the artisan quarter of San Blas, marvel at the 12-Angled Stone, and visit the Cusco Cathedral and Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), followed by a private drive up to the megalithic fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.
