Your private driver and expert guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning. We will drive deep into the Sacred Valley, ascending into the mountains until we reach the traditional Andean community of Amaru.

3. Pisaq Artisan Market & Citadel

After a beautiful lunch, we descend to the town of Pisaq to stroll through its famous daily market—the perfect place to find high-quality, handmade souvenirs directly from the artisans. Afterward, we drive up the mountain to the incredible Pisaq Ruins to explore its massive agricultural terraces, ancient water channels, and the Sun Temple.

4. The Living Town of Ollantaytambo

Continuing our journey through the picturesque valley, we arrive at Ollantaytambo. Many of the houses here stand exactly as they did during the Incan empire. You will be exclusively invited to step inside a local Andean house to observe the original interior architecture and the daily life of its current inhabitants.

5. The Imposing Fortress

To conclude the tour, we will explore the powerful Ollantaytambo ruins. Your guide will decode the history of this monumental complex, which served religious, military, and agricultural purposes, and stands as one of the few places where the Incas successfully repelled the Spanish conquistadors.

6. Return & Relaxation

Yes! Ollantaytambo is the primary train station for departures to Machu Picchu. Since this is a fully private service, we can comfortably store your luggage in the vehicle all day and drop you off at the station at the end of the tour.
