Welcome to Peru! In our country, the international flights arrive at late hours of the night and there are no connecting flights from Lima to other cities in Peru at that time. If your international flight arrives at night, you will stay at one of the best hotels close to the airport and have a peaceful night and rest comfortably for your local flight the next day.
Day 2
Sacred Valley - Lima to Cusco, The Sacred Valley of the Incas (B, L)

In the morning, after a nice breakfast at your hotel, your guide will pick you up and start the first stage of your private tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Your adventure begins on the same route, surrounded by the impressive landscape of the Andean countryside, the imposing peaks of the sacred mountains rise in the distance, while at the entrance of the Sacred Valley. We will arrive at the city of Chincheros where a demonstration of textile art will take place. The habitants of this beautiful city keep alive all the ancestral techniques used to make clothing, uses and decoration, transmitted from generation to generation. The artisans of Chinchero make the garments with ancestral techniques, such as the use of the "away" and the "loom" and use products such as alpaca and sheep wool for their preparation. Then, we will continue our trip to the town of Maras, where you can learn about the ancient Inca and pre-Inca agricultural methods, including a visit to the salt mines of Maras and local fields, you will also visit the circular terraces of Moray used as an agricultural laboratory. during the time of the Incas. Then we will take you to the Inca city of Ollantaytambo.
Day 3
Machu Picchu - The Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu (B, L)

Prepare yourself for an incredible adventure! In the morning, you go to the train station in Ollantaytambo where you will board the train to Aguas Calientes. In this 1.5 hour trip, you can observe a beautiful landscape. Upon arriving at Aguas Calientes, your private guide will take you to one of the transports and will accompany you to the citadel of Machu Picchu, “the Lost City of the Incas”. During your visit to this sacred site of the Incas, you will learn about the history of the citadel and visit the Sun and Condor templates. You will also see the aqueducts and houses while learning about the history behind the sacred terraces of the Inca. After your guided visit, you will have enough time to explore this amazing place on your own. There are many options to walk along short trails, like that of the Puerta del Sol for an impressive view of Machu Picchu, or the trail that leads to the Inca bridge, a secret entrance for the Inca army. In the afternoon, you will return to Aguas Calientes, where you will have the rest of the afternoon to spend as you wish. Don’t miss the opportunity to bathe in the hot springs or have a good dinner in one of our recommended restaurants. To finish the day, we will let you enjoy one of the best hotels in the Machupicchu.
Day 4
Machu Picchu - The Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu to Cusco (B)

Today, you will have the morning to spend at your leisure on your own. You will have the opportunity to revisit Machu Picchu (entrance and bus tickets not included) to enjoy the many short trekking options or venture the famous mountain climb to the summit of Wayna Picchu, which can be scheduled at either 7 am or 10 am. However, there is a limit on the number of people who can climb each day so you will need to book it with us in advance. If you do not want to revisit Machu Picchu, you might want to take a walk through the crooked alleys of Aguas Calientes and observe the life of the people in this truly touristy place or take a bath in the hot springs of the place. After lunch, you will board the scenic train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival to the train station, we will pick you up and transfer you to Cusco by private van.
Day 5
Cusco - City Tour of Cusco with Sacsayhuaman (B, L)

Our transfer will visit you at your hotel to transfer you to the place where your Tour begins at 9:00 a.m. The tour starts at we will board the van that will take us to Sacsayhuaman located 3km away. From the city of Cusco, Sacsayhuaman offers us a panoramic view of the city of Cusco; Sacsayhuaman was built with large blocks of limestone with a weight of 25 to 130 tons, integrated by three terraces superimposed in serpentine form (zigzag).
We will also arrive at Qenqo, which means “labyrinth”; it is located one kilometer from Sacsayhuaman and it consists of a construction based on limestone rock that shows a sculpture in stone in 500 square meters accompanied by structures that according to historians were used for the astronomical, religious and embalming and / or mummification purposes.
Then we will know Puca Pucara: from two Quechua words that means Puca (red) Pucara (fort)- "red fort", a strategic place for control and surveillance of access and exit from the Imperial city of Cusco, which was used as territorial border to divide the regions and establish the displacement regimes.
Finally we will visit Tambomachay: place of rest, located 9 km from the city of Cusco, better known as the Baños del Inca by the water sources, or also known as the waters of eternal youth by the flow of its waters that is constant and offers us part of the Inca trail that goes from Cusco to Machupicchu. This city tour in the city of Cusco ends at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Then, we go to one of the best restaurants of Cusco food in the historic center of Cusco.
To finish you will have the afternoon free to make purchases. Optionally you can request a guide to visit museums of native art center, so you will need to book it with us in advance
Day 6
Cusco - The imperial city of Cusco and cooking clases (B, D)

Your guide will pick up you in your hotel then we will begin in the San Blas neighborhood, the oldest in Cuzco. It is the neighborhood of artists and artisans where the history of imperial Cuzco is revealed. Following this, we will visit the famous 12 angled stone, known for its perfect edges and finish and as an example of Inca architecture. We will later enter the principal plaza of Cuzco and visit the Cathedral, the most important religious monument in the city, where we will find the most famous works of art from the Cuzqueña school. After that, we will visit the Qoricancha, or the Temple of the Sun. It was one of the most adored and respected temples in the Inca Empire. To end the morning, We will then guide you to one of the best restaurants. After lunch at 15:00 p.m, we will move to the famous San Pedro market where you will see a large variety of Andean products (potatoes, cheese, corn, fruit, etc.). Here, you can enjoy cooking classes where you can prepare your own food and enjoy Peruvian food with a professional Peruvian chef. The chef will show you how to prepare the most popular and delicious dishes from the Peruvian Andes. The classes include a refreshing beverage, an appetizer, a main dish, a dessert, and of course, the famous pisco sour.
Day 7
Lima - Lima Flight and International Flight home (B)
